Scope
The StagePath API at api.mystagepath.com powers the StagePath apps and the desktop studio. These terms apply to anyone who accesses it, or StagePath data, other than through our own apps, for example a label, distributor, partner or developer building an integration.
Access
- Access for third parties is by written agreement only. Ask at developers@mystagepath.com.
- Credentials are issued to you, are confidential, and may not be shared, sold or embedded where others can read them.
- You must follow the rate limits and documentation we provide. We may limit, suspend or revoke access to protect the service or our members.
What you must not do
- Scrape, crawl or copy StagePath content or profiles without permission, or use automated access outside an agreed integration.
- Inflate plays, followers, likes or any other engagement, or interfere with royalty calculations.
- Download, store or redistribute audio or video except as your agreement allows.
- Use StagePath data to build profiles of people, for advertising, or to train machine learning models, unless your agreement expressly allows it.
- Reverse engineer, probe or attack the service, or get around security or access controls.
- Misrepresent your relationship with StagePath, or use our name and logo without permission.
Personal data and content
Where you receive personal information through the API you act as an independent controller or as our processor, as your agreement sets out, and you must handle it in line with applicable data protection laws, our Privacy Policy and our members’ choices. You must delete data promptly when a member deletes it from StagePath or when we ask. Creators own their content: the API gives you no rights in it beyond what your agreement and the creator grant.
Reporting security issues
If you find a vulnerability, email security@mystagepath.com with the details and give us a reasonable time to fix it before telling anyone else. Do not access, change or delete other people’s data while testing, and do not disrupt the service. We will not take action against good-faith research that follows these rules.
Changes and ending access
We may change the API and these terms. We will give reasonable notice of changes that affect an active integration where we can. When access ends you must stop using the API and delete StagePath data you hold, except where the law requires you to keep it. The API is provided as is, to the extent the law allows, and our Terms of Service also apply.
